Hey guys just wondering what if any effect adding new "fancier" spark plugs into my DS3 will do and if anyone has done so? Could you recommend any? Did have a look on the internet before but not sure if it's all hot air off manufacturers.

Hey thanks for the info guys much appreciated I did see some Bosch platinum ones is that boasted which were on eBay for the ds3 as it had it in the title there any reason they have to be irdium?
Sorry Zack just using works machine and its an ancient beast hardly loads anything up on the pages couldn't see the search so thought I'd post and see what I got but thanks though

Iridium Is A Stronger Material Than Platinum And Give Better Results In The Long Run

I had a set of these fitted by my local tuning shop. They are not cheap at about £18 per plug, but the car does feel slightly more responsive to the throttle since they have been fitted.

The plug code is NGK ILZKBR7A-8G and as Zack has recommended they are Iridium.

A bit of advice is to make sure you keep receipts or the boxes for the plugs in case during a warranty claim Citroen try to same that they weren't not of the correct standard.

Looks more complicated than just pulling of a rubber cap and replacing a plug (Without getting the leads mixed)

Been told that the Iridium plugs arent best suited to the THP?

Yes Chris, the NGK Iridium physically fits, however I also read opinions that it is only good for stock cars and worse than OEM plugs on remapped cars. I am not an expert, Czar made a very good and extensive explanation on plugs, he also recommended Iridium and I did not read complaints here from people using them (neither read reports of extensive improvements/changes by opting for them).
