Hello, I have a ds3 1.6 hdi 110 and I want to enhance it and I've been looking a bit and my intention would be to change the trubo by the Hybrid (Turbo Hybrid ATC-H104 1.6 HDI 753420) to put the intercooler airtec, and a catalyst suppressant since in my You can not eliminate the fap, and do a reprogramming, do you think it's too much for the engine? What would you do in my case? I need ideas. Thanks.

I'm with DeeKayEcks on this one. Get yourself a K&N panel filter and then a stage 1 remap from Jamie@SPTuning. I've got a 115 eHDi and I'm up to 145 now, but the torque increase is insane!! So many club members have been to Jamie, as he is a trusted and well respected chap, who knows what he is doing. His website is here:

Sorry Xcontrol, I think DeeKayEcks and I both assumed you were in the UK and so hence the reason we both suggested a remap at SP Tuning.
Are there no remappers near you in Spain? I've seen a couple of diesels with the airtec intercooler and reports are good, but I'm not sure on the actual gains from it.DS3 DSport eHDi 145 - Stage 1 with K&N - Shark Grey & Infinite Blue

These psaĀ engines can take well in excess of 200hp so a simply stage 1 hybrid turbo,Ā remap, intercooler, clutch to take the engine up to 170 is no issue,Ā injectors are ok up to 210 thereafter you have to add too much duration so your smoke levelsĀ increase to much. IĀ have a build thread on another site going from 230hp to well over 300 Ā https://passionford.com/forum/restor...i-project.html yes its a bit extreme but it gives you an idea of the capabilities of these engines, and I can from a 90hp engine. I think Citroen changed the ecu on the ds3 but I am notĀ sure.Ā

Personally, if you want good performance from a DS3, get a Performance/ THP/ Racing petrol engine
Whatever anyone says you will never get a true "Fast" feeling from a diesel engine (IMO of course) and Ive driven most types of DS3 engines, including remapped THPs and DieselssigpicJog on Noddy

Yeah agreed Chris, if you want a proper fast feeling, then the Performance or remapped THP gets you to 195bhp and over. So go for them. Personally, I wouldn't touch a Racing, unless there are receipts proving all the known "gremlins" have been dealt with, or if it was owned by Jamie@SPTuning and he was selling it. There will be hardly any out there that wouldn't need a ton of work doing on them. The Racing engine isn't very reliable from what I've read over the years and the only good ones are proudly owned and meticulously looked after already. It's a shame coz they do look really good.
As for remapped diesels, you aren't gonna get the really fast feeling of a THP or Performance, BUT it's damn fun and I love it!!DS3 DSport eHDi 145 - Stage 1 with K&N - Shark Grey & Infinite Blue

diesels can give that proper fast feel but you have to spend loads, drive a 300hp 400fbt dieselĀ take it from me they are very quick just the power delivery is a bit refined my diesel is going to be supercharged/turbocharged compound but its cost me silly amounts.
