  • New here / stage 2

Hello guys, my name is Levi from the Netherlands and i’m new to this forum. I’ve been reading on here for quite some time now but now is the time to ask you guys for some advice.

I currently own a dark grey(ish) DS3 156 thp 2013 model with black roof etc. I have this car for about a year now and it’s stage 1 chipped with no other improvements performance wise.

I am planning to slowly improve it’s performance more, I contacted a local garage to tune it to stage 2. They offered me:
    - Forge intercooler €925
    - Supersprint downpipe with 200 cell sportcat(not going decat) + linkpipe & midpipe €2300 euro
    - ecu tune €600
    - aprox. 400€ on working hours
so this would be over €4000 which I found quite expensive to all just do at once. They said my car would be pushed to around 205PK (HP) and 320Nm.

I want to do the upgrades stretched over a longer period of time and not necessarily with the above named brands/options.

what would you guys advice? For example first the downpipe & exhaust system (brands?) or better start with a better intercooler (and maybe airfilter & inductionkit?).

It’s already stage 1 chipped and claimed to be around 187HP an 290NM (not measured). Felt alot quicker after the chip though.

Also will the above named improvements each need a new map? Or can I just map it stage 2 when all the parts are there?

In UK, You can get to 200bhp+ on a 155bhp with just a remap and High flow sports cat, and Turboback exhaust. About £1500.

      First upgrades are planned:
      - airtec intercooler
      - forge induction kit
      - forge recirculation valve

would it be neccesairy to remap my car again after these upgrades? It’s already stage 1 remapped.

      will keep you guys updated.

So today they put on the mods, results are as following:

            Before: 184hp Before: 299.5nm
            After: 195hp. After: 308.6nm

Now what to do next? I was thinking full scorpion exhaust system, OCC (which one?) and boost pipes (just for aesthetics?) and a stage 2 re-tune.

what are your opinions on the next performance mods I should do? What can I achieve? And would you do it any different?

            Any advice appreciated .

Hi guys, was just wondering if any of you did upgrade the internals of your turbo?

I came across this uprated CHRA:
                https://m.ebay.nl/itm/392154561311?u...&ul_noapp=true

before mouting the new exhaust and proper remap would this be a good option?

Quick question: this month new exhaust system (scorpion downpipe/sportscat + cat back resonated) will be installed.

will I get a check engine light? If yes, will it be a “problem” if I drive around with it for a while? Or can you just drive with the check engine light and do the stage 2 map later.
