Tinted DRLs

Had anyone tinted there daytime running lights if so how they go about doing it

I've only known one or two others do it and both got pulled by the plods telling them to remove it asap. What colour you thinking of going for? Or you just gonna try for a smoke effect?

It was gonna be a yellow to match the brake callipers and rear drums tbh then i was gonna smoke the front headlights
