I guess they might have put a pin on the badge at the same time, although for the life of me I can't see why - unless people were prising off the badges to use them as trophies?!! It would make a cool key-ring fob with a little hole drilled in one end...

This's how we debadged our's.
On the second we've left only double dots and of course DS letters

Hair dryer. Hold it over each letter for a couple of seconds and you'll feel the adhesive start to melt. Just pull it off slowly and give it a good clean to get rid of any tacky bits.

So the old front bumper doesn't have a locating pin? I was thinking of removing mine, but I wan't to be 100% sure
