  • Rear Mudgaurds

    Hi all,
Got a pair of Rear Mudguards fitted to my lovely motor, but noticed the other day on her Sponge bath that the push clip on one side has vanished, therefore making one side quite loose. All I got from my dealer were blank looks and 'Oh you'll have to buy another set'.

Any ideas where I can get one to fit?

Make sure if you have the Citroen mud flaps that when you wash the car to run the hose into the flaps, they collect muddy water which dries, solidifies and fills the flaps which in turn weights it down and will cause it to fall off the car.

There is a little drain slot across the bottom but as I said the mud quickly builds up blocking the hole.

Any chance you could throw me a link my good man?

The ones on the mud gaurds are longer than the standard clips arn't they?

As I say i've tried my dealer already, they didn't have a clue what I was on about! Other than wanting me to buy a new set of gaurds...

Always make a point of that, thanks for the tip.

Due to having a classic car, i'd say i'm overly vigilant on places for water/mud or whatever to collect!

Do the mudguards help to keep the back of the car any cleaner? I have a white car and the back is always filthy.

Dont agree- for me they stop the majority of that arch spray of mud up the arches

On my old motor I didnt take much notice and only washed it now and again and after a while the mud goes like cement

When I sold it there were a fair for small bits stuck on the car I just couldna get off

First modification I did to my DS3 - Got mudflaps fitted!!!
