Maybe we could have constant DRL's???

Right don't shout I know this is one of the most constant threads on here but on pay day I'm going to look at getting this and see if I can retro fit it into our DRL's to do constant on/Dim with headlights.

If anyone knows if anyones tried and failed let me know, but I don't see why with my electronic knowledge I couldn't get this working?

Also, if I could get this working put together a kit including the above dimmer but with Citroen plugs to allow this to be connected inline with headlamps/DRL's would anyone be interested in one? We'd probably be looking at about £30 -£35 depending on the cost of the connectors.

I've bin to a local guy to me who does anything to do with Citroen, Pugs n Renaults and he's done mine and now my DRL's are on constant, they look wicked at nite, cost me £35. Well happy :cool: But I must admit I'd like to keep her legal so if there is a way to dim them a bit then I'd be interested.

What is this fascination to look like Christmas trees at night? Personally I think it is very sad, like the idiots who drive at night with fog lights on. Also can I remind EVERYBODY that fiddling with your car like this is going to kill your warranty stone dead and you don't want to know how much a new electric loom with cost you.

Double sigh!! Have to agree with you there, anyway what is the point you cannot see it yourself as you are driving the car. Besides all it does is dazzle oncoming drivers and this is a safety issue. Our roads are congested enough as it is and this can only add to it as other drivers have to slow as they are being dazzled by too many lights coming at them.
