  • Musical AIR HORNS- La Bamba, Tequila , maybe the Godfather?

Now I know this will get a load of jeering - but lifes too short youve gotta have a laugh

I didnt think a lot of the standard DS3 Horn, so put in a toggle switch below the steering rack, and fixed (In a very temporary fashion) an alternating
cycle air horn - very chav and loud, but I love it. Certainly makes duffers take notice when the lights go green and they dont move !

My brilliant recent idea is to make the toggle switch, a changeover momentary spring reverse switch, so I can now have another musical air horn to
make people take notice, and therefore have 3 horns on the car I can use.

So wondering what to have- There are about 10-11 tunes available, ranging from 3 to 6 horns, including the standard River Kwai, Dukes of Hazard and La Cu-Ca Racha which
    are all a bit normal.

So- shall I get La Bamba, or Tequila or even the Godfather theme. The thing is Ive never heard the tunes on an Air horn

Anyways- have you got a musical horn that sounds good, or any ideas on a tune?

That Godfather is great.................take the bumper off/ raise on ramps......Noooooo, none of that technical bodywork stuff.
Did it all from under the bonnet. Run a cable, in line fuse etc etc.
Bit difficult to explain but compressor near the oil dipstick, released a bolt then tightened the compressor to it. The air horns
sort of hang relatively freely in thin air, altho cable tied, in that area- theyre only light plastic!

Yep, I had one of those train horns in my custom car days, I bought it from a company in Nebraska. It is in the shed somewhere.

Just make sure you're compressor is powerful enough if you're sticking more horns on; otherwise you'll find the tune a bit lacking towards the end.
