  • Best Induction Kit?

I have recently refound my love for my DS3 and would like to celebrate with a new induction kit.

I am torn between 2, the BMC CDA which looks awesome but im not sure what its performance figures would be like and the Forge one which does look good but a little chavy.

    What would you all recommend?

indution kits are actually overrated a bit.. what would you like the induction kit to do.. ? Do you have other plans with the car in the future.. ?

The BMC CDA looks nice, but where the filter is located is at the back of the engine and will not help keeping the air cool.

The forge will perform better as its located in a area of the engine that is cooler and direct into the turbo, unlike the CDA unit that follows the same pipe path as the stock air box.

You can get a heat sheild around the filter to separate the cold air from the warm.. But thats dont look so good.. But as i said earlyer unless you want to do something to your car later on then go for the forge because that would give you and advantages if you are going for a remap or anything like that..

But if your not planning to do something later on then go for the one you like the best, because a filter alone does absolutely nothing..

My plan is to get an induction kit first, followed by the supersprint exhaust and then when my warranty is close to expiring to get a remap. I think the Forge one may be the way forward then....

@Zack. Your engine looks immense! But i'm not that knowledgable on this subject so i wouldn't know where to start going for a custom one.

For comparison purposes, here's what the Forge one looks like:
