Anyone tried this yet seems to me that 205-45-17 tyres are more expensive also I have just done a pair of Toyo proxies in 7000 on the front
Before guys jump on and say driving too hard I would say no the ESP light never comes on

So other than the proxes what other tyres are ok in the same price range

Parada's ?? But they would have to be 215 though

7000 is not many miles at all out of a set... Even though your ESP light isnt coming on i'd be tempted to incur your wrath and say you've been driving with a reasonable level of aggression in accel and cornering for that sort of wear

Personaly I wouldnt want to change my tyres from the set out spec incase it causes insurance/warranty issues.
Maybe its worth trying a brand like Falcon or Avon? Not top end stuff but a few mates of mine have had them before and say they wear pretty well so it could save you some money.
