  • HDi 90 more power on a budget

Ive seen lots of things on here for getting more torque and bhp out of the diesel but what would be the most cost effective and hopefully insurance friendly way of getting more GO out of it? Are there any methods that dont break warranty either?

Anything you do to add power is going to affect your warranty. Car companies just do not want you to mess with there product.

      Exactly ^

But get a new airfilter.. make sure your car gets cold air..
And then go for a remap..

But it will affect your warranty..

exatly but if you have a workshop you can trust they often try to help the customer remember a new airfilter is really easy to replace with a standard one if there should be anything wrong with your car..

And its a really special situation if they want you to send in your ecu to check for a remap..

Trust me that is not something that happens often.

If I was to change the airfilter and remap, and it went in for an annual service - would I be caught out, even if I changed the air filter back before I sent it in?

No , they are not going to be looking for anything either, the are not detectives just normal guys doing there jobs and servicing your car.
