DS3 R Black

I have had an idea for a project on my all black DSport +. It is a bit ambishous and will take quite a long time but i think it would look
good.

I was thinking about: Putting the Carbon fibre front grille surround on (from the white DS3 R)
Putting the dark 18" DS3 R wheels on it along with the front lip and wheel arches
Then getting some of the DS3 R bucket seats (or the ones from the 207 GTI as they are pretty much the same)

All that along with some engine mods to get the most out of the engine.
I have not thought about price in too much detail although im aware it would be pretty expensive.

What do you all think? Yay or Nay?

as mine and your car is the same spec, colour etc and has only one letter different in the reg, if you did that, your car would not be my cars twin anymore lol :-(

Your Looking At About £3000 Just For Those Bits, That's Without Any Engine Mods... Do It If It Makes You Happy But No matter How Much You Try and Make It look Like A Racing, It Never Will Be...

Didn't Lenny or somebody else do something similar here with the carbon bits? IMO, it looks pretty mint but cost is going to be a major factor here.

Purely for aesthetics, I don't think it's worth it.

I'd say crack on with it. See if you can modify and complete the entire replica of a DS3 Racing, for cheaper than the actual price.

Then you can stick your fingers up to Citroen and say "Thats what you get for overpricing the DS3 Racing". (Can you tell i want one?)

re: creating an identical replica of a DS3R for cheaper.. Aesthetically, it's possible. If however, you're looking to match the spec identically I don't think you'll get very close to Citroens RP

I think, externally the same size but internals modified. Will make a comparison of the external size at the next meet.
