  • Cooked my Brakes

Surprisingly, I managed to cook my brakes on a fast b road drive the other day. pads stank and smoked for ages and felt like they were melted to the discs. pedal got softer too. OOPS! Anyone done any modifications on the brakes on the ds3? I assume they are the same on the 110hdi and thp.

considering uprated pads, slotted discs and fluid

Did this to mine on the buttertubs pass! Punished my brakes for 4 hours round the Dales. Hell of a drive tho! I find the brakes are good enough if this isn't a regular activity!

Another +1 for greenstuff, I'll certainly be switching when mine run low, the stock ones create loads of dust anyway.

Use them for my 106 Rallye track day car and are very great in use.
