  • Headrest Monitors

Hey guys...When i ordered the car I remember asking the kind sales guy if they could install headrest monitors as an option to which he said they did not do on the DS3.

I was now wondering if installing after market ones that come with the headrest included is easy or not and if so how would i do it?

Never done any electrical mods so have no idea where the cables would come from and wher they would be hidden. Any ideas?

The headrests in the cars have holes already in the bottom of them. Saves cutting them up.

Not too difficult if you're handy with the tools! Heres a quick step by step of some I did about 3 years ago.

              Headrest

              Cage in position

Cage Marked and cut with an X

              Foam Removed

Fiberglass Filler in place to hold screws

              Cage screwed in place

              Screen in place

              Jobs a goodun!

^ although the screens were wayy too big for that particular headrest, but you get the picture (geddit? lol)

Anyhow....then its a case of feeding the cable down the seat cover and to the brain unit.
