  • Chrome rubbing strips

I don't have the chrome rubbing strips on my DS3 and am in two minds about putting a pair on. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a pair for under £100? Also, I've looked online but can't seem to find out whether it's possible to get them in black? Are they available or do I just do a respray the chrome strips?

    Thanks all,
    Phil.

Best to PM John Nicol as he is a parts manager, I doubt if you would get them for less than a £100 though.

Your DS3 must be a older one then yes?

Only come as standard in chrome, some have had theres, wrapped or sprayed. I think plastidip spray is our new favorite things!

As big asked, if you have an older model will be worth checking that any rubbing strips you buy don't have 'pegs' in the back. I think they come as standard now, so they have pegs to slot into holes in the newer cars so they stick on perfectly aligned.

Oh right! Thanks for that WTF. I didn't know that! And yes, mine's a 10 plate so it didn't come with the strips as standard.
