This car won't tune by OBD, many back door connections to the circuitry inside the ecu are required to tune these.
We have just developed a new solution for tuning these without the need for soldering.
Sorry, Scotland is waaaaaay to far for us to travel and do this.

Jamie, I spoke with you a couple of months ago re. putting my car in - are you saying you don't need to solder onto the ECU board now? Is this still in testing or ready to roll out; if that's the case I'd be alot more keen to get it done.

I'm sitting at just over 1300 miles just now and only thinking about it just now so wouldn't be in the near future. I'd be up for heading down geordie shore for it so hopefully it works out there ok and I can then think about it more seriously. Right now I'm watching out for a slight miss fire/lag I thought I felt coming home tonight which I hope I imagined.

Keep me informed will you nerd, I wouldn't mind knowing what they achieve on their HDI - and whether they think it's made a noticeable difference, I'm still humming and ahhing as to buy myself out of this HDI early and swap it for the THP

You would definitely feel the difference mate- they reckon 145 BHP and over 230lb of torque- you will definitely feel that!!! They did a great job with my THP and I can't speak highly enough of them. Shame Jamie isn't closer though, would always be nicer to use a club member.

Come along to Scarborough on Saturday and have a spin in the DNerd+

Anyone know if superchips remaps are good? If not, what's the quickest way from London to Burbage? M40 or M1?
