Don't know where you read that Chris, Osram's website states they are Halogen lamps. They are direct replacements for the oem ones.

Says on the ad filled with Xenon gas?

I looked at the ebay link, under the bulb description section they state "Probably the brightest halogen light in the world - now with new technology for extra lifetime." but then go on to put a tick by Xenon Gas Filled. Looks to me like they don't know what they are selling.

Well they've lasted since xmas last year so I think they'll be ok

hi Zack, were did you get your from?, just tried some LED H7, was like driving with just your side light on.

Those OSRAMs detailed in this thread are good for the headlight (Dipped)
Nice white light, shows the sidelights up as yellowish- so got some of them on order too
Surprised the new lamps didnt throw the light a bit further though
Much, much better than standard. Cheers for advice

Just search ebay for Osram Night Breaker Plus, I just did and got this result:

'12,516 results found for osram night breaker plus'

If you want to refine it further you need H1 & H7 for Main & dipped respectively.

If you dont mind spending money, try Philips Blue Vision Ultra, thats what I use. I tried the Osram ones when I first got the car, they only lasted me about 2 months and 1 died, so swapped the the philips ones, lasted alot longer for me.

May have been a bad bulb or other problem, I have had the Osram ones fitted for over a year now without any problems.
