Getting a sports cat is easy as you can get a 200cell 63mm diameter cat for £150 (Cheapest)
Its getting the cat, fitted to a downpipe of the right size, that fits the engine outlet and flex coupling below

Probly stating the obvious be there we go

Having looked into the cat and downpipe thus far, having contacted about 8 companies in London/South East, response has been bit sporadic

As Fabian says- Milltek are getting a cat out in November

Supersprint do one but its expensive

Several providers said they can fit one, but it has to be part of a total exhaust sytem. When asking why they dont respond

So- still chasing. When I get a chance will ring a few of them up. Not in a hurry but would like sorted before New Year

I sell these for £150.00 including mapping out the lamda sensors.
Once the heat sheild is fitted back on you can't tell the cats been removed and I'm sure it still gets through the emission testing.
Fitting these is a little tricky, the heat sheild is very tight to come out, a competent mechanic should be able to do it in around 2 hours though.
I have these made for us by a very well known British exhaust manufacturer, can't say who...sorry
I try and get to one of meets so you can hear the sound

How can it pass the emissions test without a catalytic converter ? It's also illegal to use your car on the road without a catalytic converter, and has been since 1st August 1992.

There's an mot station next door, I'll take ours round tomorrow and get it tested to be sure.
Yes, Czar...cats are a legal requirement for road use. It's also illegal to go faster than 70mph on a motorway, but most of us still do.
It's 2.5"" in stainless steel, and designed to fit the OEM system.
