Try asking Den if he can let you know when he's next out with his radar gun, those things are pretty accurate lol.

That or Santa Pod or similar.

Pfffft, the guys always threatening me with fines and points. Keep your eyes on the news for 'lunatic policeman tried to keep up with a fish in a fast car, kills 25 innocent bystanders trying'

1/4 mile was 14.818 but again, this was on a dyno with no real track/road conditions.
              Some good times there

I'm looking forward to doing some of these mods to mine in future.

Other than his threats to fight other members at meets and the constant stream of bullshit that stemmed from him? Unfortunately, most of his posts have been remove now.

Split personality disorder comes to mind.

Anyway back on topic, what are the best mods to do to join the 200BHP club?

A decent map and changes to induction could probably push you up to 190. From there there's a tonne of things you can: Intercooler, exhaust mods, nitrous, uprated turbo, etc..

Simplest mods by far though would be a remap and induction.

What about the exhaust? Is it worth doing induction & exhaust then remap?

Or does it not make much (or any) difference which order it's done?

My limited knowledge- Induction (Air in) Exhaust/Cat upgrade (Air out) Remap, intercooler (Air cooling)
Plus a myriad of a few other tweaks re efficient fuel circulation/ burn
                            Just my best guess!
Sure Fishs' contributions over the last years would assist

The biggest restriction I've found was the decat. Power flow is sooooooo much smoother now (although the dyno graph shows quite a few lumpy curves). With the standard cat I could feel the exhaust gasses building up and not wanting to budge when my foot was to the metal. Now everything just.. works..

I changed the backbox within the first year of having the car just so it could have a bit more of a sportier sound.

Bare in mind, the decat isn't road legal so come MOT time or if you're pulled over you might have a job explaining it

                              My mods went:
                              Panel Filter
                              Remap
                              Back Box
                              BOV
                              Upgrated radiator hoses
Turbo Actuator - Trial fitment from Forge, caused a couple issues so took it off.
                              Forge induction kit
                              Forge BOV
                              Forge hard pipe kit
                              Nitrous
                              De-cat

You don't need to follow it in that order or even make all the above changes to get the most out of the DS but I'd certainly recommend a remap. Jamie from SP Tuning has a brilliant map on his that's massively different to mine and his prices are brilliant so it may be worthwhile giving him a call if you're interested in pushing the most out of it

Edit: I'm currently speaking with a few fabricators near me about a custom intercooler to replace the stock one so we'll see what gains we get after that

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm looking at doing a few things next year around my insurance renewal time.

What are the benefits of the hard pipe kit over standard? I've seen a few people mention it but I'm not hugely technical.

I would probably go for a sports cat rather than a de-cat though, the most free flowing that would pass an MOT. Jamie isn't that far from me so I will definitely keep him in mind.

What's your next step to your crazy power plan? Inter-cooler?
