Just spoke with my insurers. I'm off to the surgeons on Friday to have two limbs removed to be sent special delivery!

Thats the reason for the DS3 i'm planning on taking off the road and preparing it for sprint racing so I don't have to worry about ridiculous insurance premiums or stupid emmisions test lol. when finished she's gonna be running two ecu maps one on super unleaded and one running 15% methanol and super unleaded he he should be running about 410 - 420 bhp when complete so should be good fun then he he.

I would defo recomend taking a trip to Santa Pod its a great cheap day out just watch your clutch lol its been a few years since I went but the run what ya brung cost £10 and £20 for unlimited runs but would recommend no more than about 4 runs as your clutch/gearbox and engine take a hammering. when ive finished im planning on taking it again and aiming for a 12 sec flat or maybe if im really lucky just maybe slipping into the 11's lol

A DS3 day sounds like a good idea and its defo great fun and a good way to give your car the beans legally lol

Santa Pod 2013 thread

Stevo- Reckon you should start a thread to see if anyone interested in a DS3 Santa Pod day next year?
Start in in "DS3 Club meets section" , and would suggest sometime May/ June/ July 2013
Good to have a long lead time, see what response is. Enough interest then look into a specific date (I mean you already have the place)

Be a good day out too

Would start one meself but know nothing bout Santa Pod me- dont even know where it is?
Having been there a bit- you should know youre way around
Half dozen cars or more would be good. Lots more and could get some sort of deal

Sounds like a good plan Chris I'll post something up and gauge the interest. I've gotta say I'm enjoying this forum there are plenty of friendly people on it. Not like a certain Subaru one I was on where I offered some advise to someone having computer problems then got loads of grief from members criticizing my sugestions even though i repair PC's n laptops for a living. Don't get me wrong i enjoy a bit of friendly banter but some members were just plain rude lol

Yep- theres not anyone on here that a REAL plonker- theres a few Plonkers, but harmless and that just adds to the site experience. A few rows now and again- but thats normal- and a few strong words. But overall a good site
