In my opinion darkened glass only really suits certain styles of vehicles, and here is 1 of my vehicles that suits and has darkened Bronze glass (not tint film)

Thats a shame as my wife feels a lot safer in a car with obscure glass at the back, at least
Stops the "thug driver" from understadning there is a lone female driver in front
Mind you- I'm MORE scared of a female driver- they just dont give a damn

Sorry for reviving the thread, anyone know what the standard rear tint is? Such as percentage and colour as its a kind of greenish hue. Thinking about carrying it on round onto the front windows.

Better to revive a thread than start another on the same subject!

I suspect that the rear tint may be too dark to be legal on the front.

Yeah im fairly sure its illegal on the front. But that doesnt bother me i could always have it to legal amounts. I mainly want the colour to match rather than having greenish rear tint and grey-black front tint. Might look abit of a tool.. Well more of a tool.

Sounds like an interesting project for a tinting company - the tint you'd have to add to make a match would be different to the rear colour, as the existing tint on the front would affect it! Probably have to be done by "trial & error".

Cheers for the advice Dave, I'll just have to look into it a bit more I think. Might just end up going for the regular colour tint all round.
