  • Hdi 90bhp remap

Picking up the new DS3 disiesel tomorrow and hoping you guys can point me in the right direction for a remap.

Decided on the 90 due to the cheap road tax but fancy just a little more poke.

Any recommended tuners in the Yorkshire area and what kind of figures could I expect from the 1.6HDi mapped up?

    Cheers
    Craig

You might want to give you're new car a bit of time to break in before messing with it...

or at least a month to check everything is running well.

Cheers man. Was thinking of getting it through it's first service before tinkering. As much as I'd love to go the whole hog and do exhaust and other mods I just want a little more poke.

First service on a 90HDi is at the 2 year mark so you may not want to wait so long xD

You have too much money clearly.

The handbook says 1st Service is after 2 years, Petrol's are every year.

Sure there is a 1000 mile "check"

Nope, unless you really want it checking.

Ah, fair enough. Only reason I assumed that was when we were looking at new cars the dealer explained there was a PDI, then it would be returned at 1000 for a further "service" then regular intervals

Unless they have changed it since, but when I bought mine the salesman and the book you get with the car say 2 years.

I'm sure I heard something about new cars are put though testing to check everything works fine so there was no need.... or I could just be making that up =]

Or it may just be part of the dealer service, rather than a Citroen recommended one?

Either way, by the time I get round to mapping it, it will have covered close to, if not more than 1000 miles

                            That's the one.

20k miles for me would take 3 years 8-)

edit: its the petrol for 20k >.> 12,500 would probably line up with 2 years for me anyway xD

Don't take the 90 for granted as being slow, it's not. Enough torque to keep anyone but Seb Loeb happy
