Biggest update for a while on the DS...
Well looks like I'm all booked in to drive up North to see Jamie again in the next 3 weeks.
Having the DPF deleted aswell as fitting Bilstein Coilovers.
We know of 2 or 3 people who have tried to have the DPF Deleted in the past and as far as I'm aware no one has been able to do it successfully yet without problems - but I have faith in Jamie seeing as he cracked the remap on the 90 + 110 HDi before others !
Had the pipe made up by the guys at ProSpeed exhausts in Cardiff. Used these loads of times now for different work on 3 different cars and they've always done top work !
Anyway here's the pics
They had the car for most of the day. 1st they removed the DPF - which took most of the time lol then measured it all up, made the downpipe, connected all of the sensor port holes and then fitted it to the car to make sure it fit. Once that was sorted had to take it off again and re-fit the DPF as I'll still be using the car before I go see Jamie
Yeah it looks a little dirty but in reality it's nice and shiny
Also just had some new narrower and lower profile tyres ready for the Coilovers as my 40 profile were scraping my arch liners xD
Will keep you all updated when it happens !
