  • 62 Plate DStyle 90bhp Induction Kit?

    Hi All,

I would like to purchase a decent induction kit for my new DS3 (Which I love more than life itself!). Could someone point me in the right direction please and how much extra BHP do you think I would get?

    Thanks

No idea where you can get one but inductions kits will give you max 5hp. You won't notice any difference really apart from a nice induction noise

Go get a custom made one, failing that just get a K&N panel filter to replace your stock one

Try the one Citroen spent a lot of time & money developing!

Thanks for the replies! I don't mind that much about how much extra BHP I will get but I really want the Induction noise that comes with it!

You could make on your self, like this.

            http://ds3club.co.uk/showthread.php?...Hdi90-part-two

            It is not that hard
But you will not get the full advantage power vice before you ad a chip or get a proper remap.
            All the best, MortenT

I have not blown mine yet, and I have driving with this setup since June.
I have ben to service to with the kit on (but without the chip), My deler found it nice
A friend of mine have put in a Race Chip Pro to, but no induction kit.
With my setup I can adjust the chip much furter than he can, becurce of the better flow.
I asume that the same would be the cace with a remap.
                All the best, MortenT

Nice ill have to look into it! How much better is this car with the remap? I have been looking at your thread and the race chip pro is looking very appealing! As standard it is quite nippy anyways but I need more!

Remap every time - NOT a chip!!!
Makes a big difference. Mine has gone from 90hp to about 120hp and still makes me smile!
If you are in no rush meet up with me and see for yourself. I am near Warrington.

I agree with Jimbo, the only reason for using the chip is that I am leasing the car and I would have to bring it back to "normal" every time I take it to service.
Having said that, I find that the Race Chip Pro is not bad at all.
You can adjust it for power and duration of power according to RPM separately.
As standart the settings are B/1 but with the induction kit you can take it up to 0/4

The first dial is Power the second is duration of power
In fact I am rather happy about it, it makes the car much more drivable and give´s a much better mileage.
With this setting the exhaust build up a little sod though.

When mine is serviced no mention is ever made about the remap.
Unless they look for it they are never going to notice or care.

I am sure you are right, but when I was to make the choice my dealer told me that a remap was a NO GO.
So I will wait until the warranty expires and I probably buy the car.

                            Hi Jimbob

I'm kinda interested in a remap, can I ask how much yours cost and who did it ? My only concern is the warranty so your experience of it not being picked up sounds good...

                            Cheers
