Flashing fog lights!

Okay, so ive got my HID's in my headlights. Led sidelights etcetc...

Got to my foglights.
Had them changed over...
Switched them on... But... They seem to flash instead of just stay on...
Bulb failure, or is the car complaining saying its a fault because theres not enough resistance etcetc ?

Sounds like a CANBUS issue, search some of the threads or check below at similar threads about changing bulbs for more info

Just bought a different set, going to test these when they arrive and then five them a shot... If not il look further into it... sake. new cars annoy me sometimes!

In all fairness, if you'd have bought the correct bulbs you wouldn't be having this issue. Don't blame the car

Just bought high power cree fog lights ?
Think its goota be the bulb... They were fine in my old car !

if it still does it when you fit the OE ones then you have shot the ecu to sh1t ... !!!

i did this on my last DS3 and it was the HIDS that caused it, lucky for me i did mine 1 week after picking it up so they changed it under warranty.

soink to do with the way the live works on the ballast..

so on my new DS i left them alone lol

My hids worked fine tbh... no issues with them.

Will see how these go... says on diagnostics fog light fault so will see how it goes!

I also bought LED fogs with no resistor built in and they were as you described... But i never bothered with them after that haha
