Dashboard mods? door handles?

I know the basic interior of the C3/DS3 and almost the same, so wondered has anyone modified the dash board??

DS3 comes with the shiny black while my C3 came with a dull grey which has a couple of scratches one of them about 12" all the way across, other half and hamster cage!!, just wondered has anyone carbon wrapped it? or replaced the dash module? Would love a shiny ds3 style one, they have to be the same size??

Same idea for the the door handles as well? the plastic on mine is awful for a 2 year old car, was thinking of getting some wrap to sort the front 2 out, anyone done this or just me thinking about it.

Cyclone has done his matt white with Plasti Dip. Looks great.

I know a few others have done theirs too but I can't think who off the top of my head.

Carbon looks good, I have the shiny carbon effect plastic, it came standard on mine.

Just want to look after this car abit, i know before people say its a C3 but tbh the car for me is a great little motor and a massive upgrade from my c2 vtr, the previous owner didn't look after it, and considering how little mileage im surprised the condition of the car, currently looking for a detailer to give the outer body the once over.

Where are you based? I recommend CliveP for detailing.

I've sat in my mates C3, the dash does look very similar. If it's not the same it's very very close to the one in the DS3.

The dash is interchangeable, The door handle surounds are not the C3's are more rounded. All can be wrapped But get a pro to do it. Tried to wrap mine and failed, succeeded with the plasti dip though

quite easy less than 5 min total. this includes taking the vents off and getting them ready to spray.

NO! Took the pieces out they just pull off.

Just sent clivep a PM, and think ive found somewhere to sort the dash out, found a place that does external carbon wrapping, sent them an email to see if they will do the interior.

I'm in the same boat (car?) as the OP, C3 with a less-than-careful previous owner having left me with a few jobs to get it looking up to standard!

So the dash trim just pulls off? Anyone got any pics of the process? Just worried about snapping clips!

Also, how about the bit of trim around the speedo console?

Thanks for that linky, I found this thread by searching but didn't look further down the results!

Don't suppose you know of door handle removal (interior)? I guess it's going to be different than for a DS3, the one I drove last week looked nothing like mine :/
