Steel wheels and winter tyres

I know its only summer, but I'm already preparing for winter haha!

I wondering what size steel wheels to get and what the tyre size should be? Currently I have 205/45/17's.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You can buy the steels straight from your dealer which are designed for winter tyres.

I'll be going for 15s from a scrapyard, most likely. Is there a way of working out what the tyre size should be if the diameter is known?

The smallest size on the DS3 seems to be 195/55 R16. Maybe that size will be fine? Though I dont know if 16" steels are readily available second hand.
