Osram Nightbreakers?! Are these any good?

im looking to upgrade the standard bulbs, been looking at HID kits but cant be doing with the hassle of changing them when the mot comes round.
can anybody suggest a decent bright white bulb to use in the headlights, osram nightbreakers seem to be popular choice? anybody got some pictures with them in?

I have Osram Nightbreakers in my main & dipped headlights, definitely recommended. Also recommend Philips Silver Vision for your indicators.

Just out of interest, are the Phillips Silver Vision any cheaper than the original Citroen Rear indicators? (or are they the same?)

Welcome to the club !! I have the Nightbreaker Plus's and they are great much better than the standard lights Like others I've also swapped out the orange indicators in the front for the silver (flash orange) ones, much tidier !

I'm not sure tbh, I just bought mine from Amazon. I'm sure you could get them cheaper on eBay though.

Thanks for the info, gonna order the nightbreaker plus H1 & H7's, and the philips silver indicator bulbs this week hope there not too fidly to fit. I'l take some before and after photos once installed

Got the OSRAMs for the dipped beam, but didn't think much point for main beam, as OEMs seem OK for this, and theyre not used much.
If you wanna save yourself some pennies.

I had the Osram ones, but seem like they only lasted for 5-6 months..
So I changed to Philips Extreme Vision, and I do love them. Nice and bright, would recommend these if you want antoher option. :redface:

Any pics of these Osrams and Philips??? I have hid's in 6000k and 8000k 10 min job changing a bulb but if ya cba then fair enough tempted on the Chrome bulbs

agree! the Osram's are awesome. Just fitted them on mine and they look SO much better

I have big hands but fitted all of the above bulbs with ease, unlike some super minis the DS3 has space behind the units..

Just put osram night breakers in mine and they are good but the side lights now look naff next to them any ideas what to replace the 501's with? I tried some LED ones but they flickered on and off without my lights on.

Ive just fitted new smd side lights today, very bright. 8 smd on each bulb. Il post the pictures some time tomoz
