  • Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited VS Philips Diamond Vision RESULT

So after seeing people giving good reviews of the Nightbreaker Plus, I bought the Nightbreaker Unlimited as they were the newer improved version. Once fitted I was very disappointed with the performance and look. I then bought Philips Diamond Vision and here are the results.

Nightbreaker Unlimited LEFT Philips Diamond Vision RIGHT

That's why I went for them as well, because having changed the sidelights to LED it made the dipped beam look even more yellow

But have you driven with the Diamond vision
They may look snazzy and white- but do they work?

I got the Nightbreakers and they were so much better than OEM- and that's the important bit, seeing where you going
Mine are not as white as my LED sides- but quite like that difference actually
After all, I don't see the headlights- just use them to see

Is that just the side light bulb on in the high beam reflector in those shots?
It looks very 'bright' if it is??

I've fancied led 501s for ages but will ONLY get them when i KNOW they're gonna
be nice and BRIGHT not just 'whiter'...... its BRIGHTNESS i want most.
I'd rather have brighter headlamps than just whiter.
            ( ie 100%'s than blue-white's?)

Yeah just sidelight, got some 13 LED bulbs off ebay. The Philips have a slight blue colour but not so much to look chavvy

Work really well at night and performance is better than nightbreakers. Looks and Performance

They are not as bright as night breakers but neither are they yellow....when you go whiter and bluer you do lose some performance...depends what you want..my wife doesn't notice the lower light output....because it's only slight...but they look tons better

I have to agree, I have got nightbreaker in mine and they are tons better than the OEM, vision with them is outstanding but that is my personal opinion

One of my nightbreakers dipped beam has just blown as it happens, (over 2 years) so have just ordered the nightbreaker +
which are a fiver more a pair, but stated they are %20 brighter. So can compare the 2 nightbreakers together, and report back

Yes- I was pleased with the original Nightbreakers
Makes you wonder what sort of specification Citroen have for the original lamps, cos they are rubbish
Maybe an eco thing, to make you drive a lot more slowly :-)
