HID Wiring

Hi found this while looking at the DS5 Forum, thought it may help anyone thinking of upgrading to HID's. References DS3's.

BS. The DS3 doesn't need this and the lights can be powered directly from the normal headlight lead into the ballast. I've fitted 3 different makes of HID kits on 3 different DS3's and never had an issue.

Agree a correctly done Can Bus compatible hid kit should not through up an error. A non Can Bus or incorrectly made kit will without a doubt cause one.

I do not recommend Hids for headlights that were not designed for them. Someone else may point you to a quality kit.
