Lexia tool in derby for my DRL's

Asked citroen if they would programe my drl to stay on with JUST sidelights but they wont do it, aparantly there head technician doesnt think its possible but we all know it is.
Is there anybody on here able to do this for me? I dont mind traveling regarding its not too far from me.

Not quite, I think you can have just the side lights on with setting two on the stalk:

BEFORE:
0 - DRL
1 - Sidelights - normal rear light function
2 - Main headlight + Sidelights - normal rear light function

AFTER (using lexia)
0 - DRL + Sidelights - normal rear light function
1 - Sidelights - normal rear light function
2 - Main Headlight + Sidelights - normal rear light function

Cant see how or why its illegal, id understand if they were active constantly as they may dazzle people but when do you ever drive in dark conditions with just sidelights? When uts dark enough that you need headlights on ,the drls wouldnt be on as i want them programed to be active with just sudelights not diped beam aswell.

Sending texts while drivings illegal too but who can say they never have

As Bigfeet said, the reason your dealer would have refused to do this is due to the legal status. The DRL's on the DS3 are deemed too bright to be used at night as they can dazzle other drivers.

You could ask your dealer if it's ok to text and drive they'll probably tell you not to.

If they advised or did otherwise then there's the possibility they could be held accountable for you breaking the law.
