Both the Forge blow off (Dump) valve, and the Forge adaptor will make a noise
The adaptor just makes a noise, the valve makes a noise and replaces the OEM valve

Which one is better- the new Forge valve as its better quality than the OEM valve which it would replace, which doesn't make a noise
And if you don't want the blow off sound, with a new Forge valve, then get the Forge recirculation valve, which is silent in operation but performs the same function as the Blow off valve

Hope that all makes sense :star:

not unless there is one designed specific for it, sounds bad on a petrol nevermind a diesel though

Thanks a ton chris .. I'll go with the valve then, the OEM valve won't last long in our weather

                  No worries Fooda
The forge valve is also piston driven, rather than diaphragm, so will last much longer- especially in Saudi!
As another member said, its also supplied with 2 springs, a standard spring, and a stronger on if you remap to higher boost pressures

Would the bov or adapter affect insurance?

If it's not declared and the insurance company spot it there's a possibility they may invalidate your insurance.
