Yeah I've heard that mentioned, so I used a sealant applied to the rim under the gator Chris.

Yes Aiden, was thinking about the Racing sticker kit from Street Race. Just waiting for it to get a bit warmer first, no room in garage to do it. Was thinking either black on the roof and red on the body or grey all over, haven't decided yet.

Hi Chris, firstly the wheels were coated with G3 Glasscoat when the paint protection was applied and then I applied clear silicone sealant.

Suppose the only grief will be when you need new tyres- then again silicone does sort of tear off doesnt it

Its only on the outside edge of the rim Chris and will come away with the gator if it needs removing for any reason, then when it's refitted it will be resealed.

Forgot you can remove and replace alloygators
Had tyres replaced on my wheels where the rim protectors are stuck to the rim
Had to replace 3 of them
