Air con unit?

Hi all, new to this forum.

Got myself a dstyle Vti 120 red edition a few weeks ago.
LOVE IT!

Just been looking though at aircon unit. In this one its the manual unit but can pick up the auto units on ebay. Just wondering if anyone has changed it over and what other wires are needed or if it can be done?

I suspect that to change a manual system to auto, as well as the dash panel you'd need to add several sensors, including the windscreen mist sensor. The wiring will probaly be in place, as manufacturers tend to use one harness over the whole model range.

Should be possible, but a big job!

Not an easy job. You eould need all the sensors plus changing the relief value and hoses. Then you need programing at a dealer. Lots of hassle in my opinion.
