Nothing wrong with the actual solenoid it works reliably the problem was all with the diaphragm.

The housing is made from pretty thin plastic- but suppose its only a housing

thats why I went with the D internals rather than the G.

Diaphragms last 20k as a minimum, and when the internals swapped out, it still appears OEM from Citroen point of view

No it is just a slightly uprated version

This is the cheapest adapter that Forge do for the DS3 and requires a hex key and 15minutes to fit.

If you're simply looking for the blow-off sound, this should keep you happy

Jamie doesn't sell the G valve as far as I know. He sells the uprated springs that go into the G valve. The reason he says the G valve is better than OEM, is because it has a better seal- he tested it.

The spring helps the valve make quicker

It doesn't make any sound at all.

As Fish says, if its the sound you are after, its the spacer at £50, or the blow off valve which I thinks £200
