1.6 Diesel Remap / Chip Advice

Guys and Girls

I have the 1.6 E-HDI ... (only the 90bhp)
Looking to get a bit more power out of it really...

We have all seen the lovely chinese plug and play kits that are kicking round on ebay which offer 30% more BHP etc and I never believe them...

But has anyone had a remap? and what is the most effective way compared to prices...
and also the pro's and cons ...

Personally I'd stay well away from Chinese plug/play stuff, if you want a remap send Jamie (forum member) at SPTuning PM for a quote, remapping with Jamie is the only thing I'd recommend he really know his stuff

I don't think it's as much because it doesn't have a turbo. Jamie will be able to confirm though.

Hi folks. New to here. Instead of starting a new post, I thought I would just enquire here as it is similar.

I have the DS3 90bhp 1.6 diesel, and with the remand from the website posted above, how much is the bhp and torque normally put up by? I would like to have about the 140/150 bhp mark, how ever being a diesel I know torque is much easier to increase than bhp.

Hi Sam- friend of mine is running just over 150BHP in a 115 Airdream
(Welcome to the club with your first post- stick a hello up in Newbies :-) )

ED- Will take a lot more than just a map to get that for yours, but why not try. Look at Zacks build thread
