Auto Lights and Windscreen Wipers

Would anybody know the cost to have this fitted?

I know that the D Style Plus comes with it as standard.

If it's silly money, then it's old fashioned used

I think this question's been asked before & the consensus was that it would be an expensive job, as it would require the fitting of light & rain sensors plus programming, although the required wiring will probably already be in place.

Not just that you will need a whole new windscreen to boot.

If you had a slave in the car to act as a cupholder, they could flick the wipers when needed as well!

That just finished it for me.

A shame that Citroen do all these good things, but dont add things that are basics on basic cars now.

Time to get a child to do the Windscreen Wipers and Lights

Curious, what basic cars come with auto lights and wipers these days ? I know that my previous Astra SRi came with neither....

Almost all the equivalent Sport models I looked at came with HID's and Auto Lights and Windscreen Wipers

Ok, I was :confused: as you said basic cars, I thought you meant starter models

I had a fiesta zetec s tdci until January, that was supposed to be a 'sporty' car, it didn't have any nice extras, no cruise, automatic lights, wipers, Bluetooth, parking sensors.....nothing really. I didn't check the spec on the car when I bought it as it was through a friend who owned a car dealership, therefore my own fault, lesson learned, not all 'sporty' models are fully kitted up!

A way back, sporty models were often lacking the extras to reduce weight and make them more sporty ! If you wanted the bells and whistles you had to buy the luxury versions instead
