afaik it is injected into the inlet mainfold cleaning the intake ports i think. though as i have said it would be better using a CC that is designed to stop the build up of Oil vapour straight away.
As far as I'm aware WMI isn't typically used for it's cleaning purposes more-so for performance gains.
To put it simply, the downsides to this would be additional labour to the engine. If you're putting out the claimed extra 10% power you're effectively putting additional load on certain components.

It will help minimise carbon build up..i think, if water is being injected then i would imagine that when detonation occurs the water will lower the tempreture thus slowing down carbon build up..... hope i am right
DS3 1.6THP DSport with a few bits added.....nickname BB  Performance...Depends on how heavy my right foot is
I'm going to get it fitted ASAP but won't test it until I get the intakes cleaned out....when the nut blaster actually arrives
Plenty of videos on YouTube from WMI companies explaining its workings and it's benefits.

a good friend runs this on his 207 GTi - it'll be a very good addition for sure. Let me know how you get on Jamie as i've looked into this in the future once i get forged internals done and the rest of the stuff sorted out by end of the year.

Na its one over in Scotland here - used to be the owner of 207oc then he sold it. Cars running a forged engine, owen developments hybrid turbo, every forge catalogue part and some extra mods we carried out to it for making it run a little bit better. Also runs an E-Tuners stage 4+ map on the car
