  • Fog Lamps

    May have been done before but i havent properly looked so;

    Okay, been working on it a while and if anyone wants to know more, i finally have LED Fog Lamps that work without any errors.

    Might seem simplier than you think but ive spent a year getting Lamps that work with the car, finally have them with the correct resistors etc, anymore details wanted just send me a message and il be happy to help you!

    Thanks Guys!

        That is the first think I thought too when reading this. Give it a go Rhysie! I am sure it will help people out. For every person that posts there are a ton of people that never do and just look around.

                Late night shot, can see why i wanted the LED Fog Light look!

                Bonnet; Ebay Vinyl, did it myself in a garage, im quite handy with D.I.Y but you can easily go to a bodyshop and have it done at a cost etc!

                Many Thanks, probably do a how to guide tomorrow guys!

                  Also had these on with just the sidelights and the light output is still great because of the type of LED I have used so don't worry about loosing any distance of projected light

                  (As they are fog lamps it shouldn't matter anyway )!

                    Silly question but how is the spread of the new fog lights, are they now just for show or do they still function as intended?

                      No such thing as a silly question on a forum.

                      As stated above the light output is still good, if not better as the LED lamps I have used have projectors on them included with the 8 smd LED's using the reflective backing on the lamp.

                            Rhysie- do you know if the fogs can be just shorted out. IE Removing the lamps, putting in a resistor, and no fault flags ?
