Apparently G3 do a scratch remover liquid - can get in Halfords. Got it as I got a slight scratch on my dash too but yet to use it.

Have yet to use it from what I understand you have to use an extremely small amount and only on the scratch itself not on the surrounding area. Sure Andy (aka our resident detailer) will be able to provide more info.

                Hi Swifty

Give Autoglym Super Resin Polish a try. If you haven't got any then I would be more than happy to send a sample to you.
As I always say, SRP is a life saver and needs to be in everyones collection. Just be careful of it not touching the horizontal part of the dash at the top of the black gloss though.

Very kind of you Andy.. I think I'm in trouble though.. I used the g3 on the main horizontal part of the piano black.. I'm thinking the only way out now is to have it wrapped, but wouldn't know how to do or where to get it done

You could give Absolute Vinyl Solutions in Kirkcaldy a try, thats where Ellis got her roof wrapped and DS3 racing stickers from. Im thinking about going to them to get my dash wrapped red and white as well as getting my whole car wrapped in matte red and matte white

From what I've seen on their facebook page they look pretty decent

May be worth looking here if you haven't already Mark.

An alternative maybe if a local detailer could use an 80-90mm finishing pad (black) with Megs 205 to bring back the shine, all may not be lost.

I'll tell you what, if you dont fancy the wrap then pop down to Bury this weekend and I will do it for you for free. It's only 4 hours away.
