  • The bumblebee OneTwenteeeeeee!

So I've had the car for 5 days so far, 510miles and a quick bath later and I am LOVING it!
So much better to drive all my students love it and find it easier to drive - even less stalling than the old one (the next owner will be relieved to know ;-) haha!)

As some of you know I requested that the dealer DO NOT valet it before I collect her. So she arrived with all the delivery protective stickers etc.

Here she is as I arrived at the dealer to collect her

    Minimal delivery mileage too

Got it home took a few more pics

The plan was to do a in depth detail on Thursday just gone but unfortunately my friend couldn't get the time off to lend a hand so I did what I could outside the house chasing the shade round the house!
    Some before shots...

After a good hoover and the mats installed - not that impressed with the Citroën mats, they're really quite flimsy and the passenger one slips all over the place!

Started with a good dose of TFR degreaser left on for a few minutes to do its stuff!

Didn't use a sponge as per the power maxed packet suggested but used a new Meg's mitt instead
Didn't really get many pic's as I was against the time as I was going to lose the shade!
I basically finished up giving it a dose of Hydr02 with the pressure washer and moved it round the front for some after pics.

    Put my headboard on finally

Went to the gym on Friday after the above pic was taken and parked miles from anyone, came back to find a Mercedes parked next to me ffs... Did the cursory look down the swage lines for dings - all clear... Phew!
Get out of my car when I get home and see this....

 gutted. Hopefully it'll polish out.

Then finally got my bellones put on so these can go in the boxes for when the car gets returned in 2 years!

If you've read all the way through, thanks! Comments etc welcome!

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with it :-) got a lot more poke than the 90, doesn't feel dangerous when trying to take off quickly onto a roundabout or something!

Love the car!! Did you got for the sat nav? I can't see on the pics properly. If so what do you think to it and is it worth paying the extra?

Definitely worth it, saves sticking one in the middle of your windscreen everytime you're lost.

My only niggle with it is the lack of touch-screen. I'm not sure if that's changed in more recent models?

Looks great, I do like a yellow DS3 had I not managed to get my black and pink one, I'd have been after yellow, or Belle-ile Blue.

Yeah the lack of touch screen is a bit of a let down but least i don't have to clean fingerprints off it!!

I love your black and pink one Kat, not sure the guys would want to learn in it though!!!

Did you go for the driving instructor lease Sash? I bought last time, but considering the instructor lease next time.
