          We are thinking of getting euro style tin reg plates we 3d lettering for a bit of a retro look, haven't seen many like that , have you?

            No,thing is if they are the silver retro style they are not legal I know there are the Yellow / White all metal with black lettering,again I am not sure about the legality/reflectivity of these.

                I have UK style pressed metal plates, been on the car for almost three years now and no bother at all with the Police. Mine do have UK style font and are supposedly ok as they have the BS info on them, that said they don't say who made them so who knows

                  Don't get me started on the whole number plate thing...bureaucratic nonsense disguised as trying to help prevent cloning. It's just so ANPR can easily read the plate.

                  That said...they're looking good. Saw a silver DS3 on Saturday, I like the silver and black look.
