I do like the MINI but like the fact that there aren't many DS3 around I have only seen one other in North Devon.

I see you have the rubbing strips, I'm tempted to get those myself ...i also like the fact there doesn't seem to be many around, went past a local church this morning and i lost count of the amount of looks i was getting from a crowd attending a wedding lol

I nearly did the same ....after going from my superb handling swift sport i was a bit underwhelmed with the handling of the DS3 but it's still a fantastic car

I don't think i could trust my self on a track,

wouldn't mind tweaking it about.. remap ect... just not sure how i would go on about warranty and the fact i have to give it back in 3 years 8-)

But not as good as a mini. was almost sideways and a nice big range rover coming down the other side.

If You Have A Remap From Viezu - Citroen Can't Detect It - Its Been Proven...

Can't then just check when the ECU was last modified?

If not i think i may have to get some spare cash saved up! Only had it 2 weeks so need to give it some time.

I think that Zack is both right & wrong. I doubt that the dealer would spot a remap in the normal course of servicing etc....on a test drive after a service the mechanic would probably notice an increase in performance.
IF Citroen wanted to check then I'm sure that a full diagnostic read of the engine maps would show a change from the original, BUT there would have to be some very good reason to go to those lengths.

As for handling, on the weekend we were told to floor it on a 400m stretch and then slam on the brakes, not even a wiggle. Then a slalom at 50kph, level as anything. Then a corner at 90kph and slam on the brakes, like driving on rails. Then the instructor did it again but increased the speed. God knows what it was on the straight, 70kph in the slalom and 110kph in the corner. No change, sweet as a nut
