  • My DS3 Racing

I took some pictures yesterday, obviously not up to Joni's standard, but the only chance to get full car shots until a shoot can be arranged.

Also a pic of the first and possibly the only mod the car will have

I think Jimbob on here used cotton to get behind the letters and hot water to ease off!!

I asked the dealer to do it before they did the GardX treatment. I think there is a thread or two on here with tips on how to do it though, if not I'm sure Zack could give you some advice.

                    Looks gorgeous Arlow!

With regards to the citroen badge, there's a couple ways. I used a hairdryer and ran over each character for 10 or so seconds and gently peeled them off. Another way is hot water poured over them and peeled off again.

If you're worried about digging into the paintwork, try using fishing wire to get in behind the letters.

Looks great Arlow - the carbon fibre bits really show up well against the white paintwork.

Now, how about some driving impressions?

I will try and put some words together later, but I'm no Jeremy Clarkson

                          First impressions though:

It's V quick, and that's without pushing it too hard
Ride is smoother than I was expecting
Little if any body roll when cornering, again not pushing the engine too hard but certainly not dawdling
Front seats are the best thing since sliced bread

I actually went for a drive after work on Friday, no destination in mind and no reason other than for the fun of it, I haven't done that in years
