DS3 Hickory Brown Matt

What do you guys think of this DS3.
It's from a dutch Citroën Dealer who wrapped the first Hickory Brown DS3 to a matt colour!!
Looks realy cool :cool:

I love it, but i heard what you can and can't do with a matt car:
-You can't take it to the car wash
-Insects are almost stuck on the paint (in this case foil)
-you almost can't wash it with a lot of soap cause there are white marks
It's a real trend now and i absolutely love it but it's so unpractical. When i ordered mine i got some info about the matt black ds3 and they say they have to put the matt ones in the middle of the truck to transport it, otherwise they're might be bugs on the car and they're a pain to get rid of. The front of my DS3 (white) is a graveyard for bugs so when i see them and i think about the matt one that would be a pain to remove.

Well the dealer where i bought my car...
Well i guess that they don't have to do it, but it's probably way easier cleaning bugs of a regular one than a matt one.
Kinda makes sense i guess.

They do. but maybe not for UK.
In France and Also here in Holland you can buy a matt black DS3

It's deffo not in the UK yet, though they are thinking about it. We saw them at the Paris meet and though they looked quite good they would be a bugger to keep nice

solution to all ..... WRAP IT ! .. if bugs get too much .. just re wrap the bumper .. you only need a hair dryer and alot of patience !

Out of curiosity i asked some guy i know how much it would cost to do the whole car, he said it's usually 3000 euros or 2630 pound. But on the other hand if the painted one starts to get ugly it would probably cost more than the wrapped one to re do.

wrapping in britain is not that much .. to have a Fiat Multipla fully wrapped with graphics cost us around £1000
bring it over and get it done here whilst on a meet
