  • So... This is what DS3 was supposed to look like.

This might be somewhere here already in some form atleast.

Not much has changed from that (mirrors, roof pattern, diffuusor, aerial, seats, dash pattern, dials, tailpipe, wheels etc etc).
Those wheels look hot as hell... I realy want 'em. Do i need to ask one of my chubby friends to stomp on my alloys or any idea where i could get those? :O

Is it realy Ronal who makes ds3's original wheels..? couldn't find any info from the net, but found 'ronal' text inside one of the wheels. Also found 'spain' inside the wheel. :S Im confused as always.

It's quite close to the finished product. Yes the Bellone's are more dished than the final version and yes they do look better, roof & dash pattern are over the top and a bit naff in my opinion. The seats made it into higher models and the prestige version of the DS3, again not my cup of tea. Center tailpipe looks nice, but they would just get accused of copying Vauxhall, Mini et al. The rear LED's would have been nice, but has any manufacturer fitted them/would there be any legal issues?
DS3 Racing, also available in White!!!

        Centre pipe looks great!

These seats will come available in the DS3 ultra exclusive, end of this year.
        They're already in the configurator

Ronal has had a factory in Teruel Spain since 1981 "little google search"

Like the squatty mirrors give it quite the sporty look.

Haa. center exhaust. See i'm just getting back to the original.

Yeah, thats pretty much all i found myself. Well ronal did make wheels for renault 5 turbo ( i think), so why not for the ds3.

Dunno why they ditched the LED's, since so many manufacturers are using 'em. Might go and add those at some point... After i find my resistors (or buy more).

There cheep by more. That's where most people run into problems with leds overheating and fires etc. All it takes to do it safe is a small bit of electrical knowledge and some internet searching for something like this http://ledcalc.com/#calc. Done right and added led can be as safe as original equipment. Done wrong will leave your car on the side of the road in flames

Been messing with LED's for a long time and never ever had any probs... LED's shouldn't heat up at any point, if theres nothing wrong with em or the connections... And using a fuse and skinniest wires you can find, you shouldn't be able to burn anything... shouldn't.
