I hate people who park like that, the other day I parked in the supermarket in the space one away from the trolley area thinking 'nobody will squeeze in between me and the trolleys, there's loads of other spaces' I come back. Well wadda ya know...
It wasn't even like there weren't loads of spaces!!!

The problem is you parked near the trolley area, people will always try and park as close to the trolley area as possible so they don't have to walk too far to get or return a trolley. The only safe place in a supermarket car park is as far from the shop as possible, unless the car park is extremely busy no one else will be parked there

I have always slagged people for doing this but now I'm concerned my paint will come away if I get hit by a door I use one of the following options:

1- park miles away where there are plenty spaces.
2- If option 1 is not possible, park between 2 spaces lol. (I know it is not good and so read above again)

I hate with a passion people who double park across spaces. You are more likely to draw more unwanted attention that way by pissing people off.

If you want to protect your car then have a look at this website, show you how to park without being a dick about it.

Yeah its really naff to park like that
Got in a right row with somebody more senior than me at work couple years back
I didnt back down and it got very heated cos he refused to move (Wasnt as bad as the piccy) and there were no more spaces
Even worse cos was late for a meeting
Imagine how mad I was when he was seen moving out the space- moving 2 foot- to let his wife in!!!
Felt like resorting to my pugilistic days- but didnt!
