I am not OCD with cleaning but it does take me almost 3 hours to clean inside and out ! lol
Mostly because we're renting a flat and I can't use a hose or jet washer so it's all buckets of water to wet, wash and rinse down afterwards... Also there is only one outside tap and it's situated on another block of flats so I end up carrying a lot of water - still she looks good when I get the time to clean her.Last edited by lfcrule1972; 01-02-2013, 18:16.sigpic

Hi
I used Autoglym Leather Care Balm, it says it's a feeder and protectant for use on clean or pre-cleaned leather. The seats weren't dirty I just don't want them ageing or looking knackered if I can help it. I got the Autoglym from Halfords, as it was local - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_255236sigpic

Noticed you use your satnav in the same place as me and your cables are visible. My suggestion is to run the cable down under the drivers mat, tuck it under the trim near the bottom of the door then up through the dash. There's a small gap where the cable will fit through just where the dash meets the A-pillar, you might have to temporarily remove the cover above the pedals to feed it up. I've got mine set up like this, much tidier, the cable is always there. It can also be tucked between the dash and door to hide it when leaving the car if needed.
Hope that helps, let me know if you want me to take pics to show what I mean

Thanks mate, if you get the chance a couple of pics would really help with this, when I first installed it in the DS3 I tried to see if there was any way of tidying it up but got nervous I would catch it on something else.
Much appreciated, having started using a Cruzer drive USB stick for my music rather than an iPod with white cable I'm all for tidiness nowsigpic
