Forget the "Doom n Gloom"
Its £60 first fine if they do fine, Non endorsable (Think of explanation to appease)
Sometimes it takes years to be first caught (6yrs showing personal plates before capture Ive heard from a club member)
Then think of just putting plates to the front, and keep legal on back
Just a thought
Nice plates, nice car. Go for it K6URF

Interesting stuff for sure, we've also got K16URF on our work van, had it for over 10 years and only once questioned about it and that was when we were pulled over for a random check on vans (think red diesel etc)
We had to put legal plates on and take the van to a MOT centre I seem to remember and then report to a local Police station.
The K6URF we've had for a few years also and no problems so far, it is not "messed" about with in the way that some people make letters look like something completely different for example.
Good job we never been to Scotland I guess :-(
ps we keep the legal plates in the boot, just in case!

Car looks great!
I'm more bothered about losing the plate (they can withdraw it if they want to - we only get 'loaned' them from the secretary of state, he can take them back!)....
Mine's spaced correctly, but naturally says what I want it to, and was worth the ten year wait...
