Had the driver and passenger windows tinted and replaced my old Ashera 16" wheels for 17" Bellone wheels. I'm really pleased with the changed look of the car, I've never seen the same colour combination in the UK. Just done 47,000+ miles and haven't had any problems so far, also had the car detailed today and he's done a super job :cool:

haha, Yeh I think the limit in the UK is 20% and the windows come out of the factory at about 15%, with the lowest tint you can get at 10% you are already above the limit.

£30 fine or more if they class it as 'dangerous'

BUT I believe Zack has had his on for over a year and had no trouble....

The tint looks a lot darker than it actually is, they have been tinted within the legal requirements or I wouldn't have had it done. It cost me £60 for both windows, Craig my detailer also uses quality film.

The UK law states that the two front side windows, i.e. the windows either side of the driver’s head, must have a VLT (visable light transmition) of >70%.

As you can see from this picture the window tinting isn't anything to worry about. Well within the legal requirements.
